Chairman’s Message 

Over the years, the Medical Educational Trust Association Surat of Seventh-day Adventists (METAS) has broken new grounds, pioneering higher education and healthcare avenues in as disparate locations as Nuzvid in the South, Surat in the West, Ranchi in the East, and now Jowai in the North-Eastern part of our country. 
METAS has stood as a beacon of light and a source of strength and inspiration, vigilantly and resolutely nurturing and overseeing the birth and growth of a higher educational system.  It has set benchmarks, creating state-of-the-art infrastructure, spreading its legacy of knowledge, values, wisdom, and excellence in varied disciplines to the youth of Southern Asia. Inculcating and fostering enduring skills and expertise, it has harnessed the young innovative minds providing them with a future replete with opportunities and possibilities, making the Adventist youth responsible and contributing citizens of this nation.
To me being a witness to METAS’ growth has been an amazing experience and their contribution to both the educational and healthcare domains has been highly commendable. The establishment of a university in the Northeast region of India had been a long-awaited dream and I am deeply delighted that it has come to fruition. 
As the Chairman of the Sponsoring Body, I want to acknowledge the hard work, the effort, and the labor that has gone into ensuring this day dawns into our lives because at the end of the day it is the human spirit that is most important. Providing resources can help create a good physical infrastructure and environment but it cannot buy you the vision, the passion, and the determination that funnel such an educational crusade.   
I am confident that this glorious avenue of learning, discovering, and serving called the North East Adventist University will be instrumental in serving the community of the Northeastern states while opening its doors to the country and the world. I praise God for the bountiful blessings He has bestowed upon us. Wishing every one of you the best as you embark on this remarkable journey of holistic education.
