Badminton is a sport that is enjoyed all around the world by millions of people and by a wide range of ages.
At high levels of play, the sport demands excellent fitness: players require aerobic stamina, agility, strength, speed, and precision. It is also a technical sport, requiring good hand-eye coordination, footwork, the development of sophisticated racquet movements and above all understanding the partner as well as the opponents.
Like most physically engaging sports, Badminton offers a whole host of benefits ranging from increasing life expectancy and mobility to promoting heart health and exercise for all ages and abilities.
Our University encourage the students to maximize the two indoor badminton courts to gain the overall benefits of badminton.
